From the 1st to the 4th of November the snowboard and freeski World Champions and Olympic medallists will compete in Modena for the second stop of the FIS World Cup Big Air.

The FIS Skipass Big Air at Modena replaces the Milan Stop this year.

The World Rookie Tour season has officially started with one event in Chile and two events in New Zealand. Now the tour goes on and the Black Yeti is happy to announce you the dates and locations of the next competitions. Also this year the World Rookie Tour will hit some of the best ski resorts of the world, such as Corvatsch, for the fourth year in a row, Livigno and Pila, for the main youth snowboarding events in Italy, Nekoma in Japan and three resorts in USA, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Seven Springs.

It’s getting colder on the Reschenpass. This means that the toughest bikers have to come to terms with the idea that they will be making their final rounds in the biking paradise Schöneben in the near future. But don’t worry, the winter program is in no way inferior to the summer attractions. Soon, freestyle will be back again and in the season 2018/19 there’s a really big upgrade coming up in the snowpark.

The Shape Academy – this name not only stands for a professional crew, but also for an elite cadre factory in the snow business. Since 2014, the Shape Academy offers a training concept that provides winter sports enthusiasts with the chance to turn their passion into profession. 265 motivated members and instructors from 22 different countries form the team, which makes the Shape Academy the biggest institution for snow construction worldwide. Altogether, these crew members managed to build 115 snow facilities in five countries, and this was only last season. Their work sets the high quality standards of established brands like QParks and Funslope. Through professional shaping on a daily basis, sportsmen and -women of all levels have the possibility to experience unique moments on the mountain – no matter whether the sporty or fun aspect is paramount. Once across the Zillertal, please! For the fifth time in a row and from December 2017 until April 2018, the infamous Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards toured from one popular Zillertal snowpark to the next again. Always followed by an enthusiastic bunch of snowboard fans from all over Europe.

A vast number of snowboarders from all over Europe gathered at the Betterpark Hintertux on Hintertux Glacier on April 28th and 29th, 2018 to hold the great final of the infamous Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards 2017/2018. The last event of Austria´s most popular snowboard amateur series was all about the overall win and crowning of the new Royal Zillertal Välley Rälley Family 2018. The QParks Tour Final was calling – and the best tour riders this tour had to offer came to celebrate freestyle one last time this season. At the Game of Diamonds, an international field of shredders was celebrating the big finale of the QParks Tour and the first contest at the Snowpark Obergurgl at the same time. Who got the best score, stomped the best trick and won the overall ranking is written below.

That was the big QParks Birthday Bash #15yearsforfreestyle. “Come shred with us” was the motto of this party – and lots of friends, companions and riders followed the call. The last stop of the Shred Poker Sessions led riders from Vinschgau as well as internationals into the Snowpark Schöneben. Under best weather conditions, the riders were on the hunt for poker chips which were swapped for cash and goodies at the end of the session.

Spring did not arrive at the SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn yet. In fact, with a unique winter scenery and lots of snow there is no clue that it´s already mid March. At least that´s what all riders must have been thinking while competing at the Oakley Schilthorn Open. Even though it was snowing, many shredders took part at the second last stop of the QParks Tour to celebrate freestyle with massive runs, fine beats and good vibes.
