The World Surf League (WSL) Australian Grand Slam of Surfing series has issued a Green Alert for the Tweed Coast Pro, Tweed Coast NSW, to run this Sunday, September 13 from 7:00 a.m. AEST. A moderate East swell is forecast for the region over the weekend and into next week and should make for favourable conditions at Cabarita Beach for the event to run over two days on Sunday and Monday.

Owen Wright will compete at the Tweed Coast Pro which has been put on 'Green Alert' to run Sunday and Monday September 13-14, 2020.

The Onda do Bem charity event will combine WSL athletes and Brazilian celebrities as part of the WSL Countdown.

Gold Coast surfers Chris Bennetts and Sayaka Muramatsu have been named as the wildcards for the upcoming Boost Mobile Pro Gold Coast on South Stradbroke Island. The pair have been picked as the top performers for their club North End Boardriders and will face off with Australia’s best surfer’s through September and October as part of the World Surf League’s Australian Grand Slam of Surfing.

Gold Coast local and North End Boardriders member Chris Bennetts will be hoping for conditions like this at his beloved South Stradbroke Island when competition gets underway at the Boost Mobile Pro Gold Coast as part of the Australian Grand Slam of Surfing.

The fourth and final Grom Patrol Camp and Comp was celebrated at the Kosta Hostel Berawa as parents, friends, crew and sponsors gathered together to see which of the frothing groms would be going home with goody bags full of cool prizes from event sponsors and new surfboards, as the Grom Patrol’s own Tipi Jabrik announced the winners and finalists in five divisions, as well as four special awards, to end the night and the 2nd annual Grom Patrol series.

After a very successful inaugural series of three Grom Patrol events in 2019, Tipi Jabrik’s Grom Patrol Camp and Comp is back again but with five weekend events planned for 2020. Certainly this year’s Grom Patrol will a bit different from last year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, but it will continue to have a high level of fun and value for the young up-and-coming groms of Bali.
