At some point, their raw passion evolved into QParks and thanks to your incredible support over all those years and our awesome community we can now look back on 15 crazy years.

As the biggest rookie contest series in the Alps, the QParks Snowboard Tour will once again live up to its name: At nine stops in four countries, the aspiring rookies gather not only important points for their moves but also first experience in the professional contest business. Under the eyes of internationally experienced judges, they will perform their best tricks – after all it’s also about cash and goodies worth a total of about 15.000€. Also the riders may qualify for the crowning finale – the “Game of Diamonds” – which will go down at Snowpark Obergurgl for the first time.

Anna Gasser (AUT) and Chris Corning (USA) have prevailed in the 2017-18 FIS Big Air World Cup season's opener which took place in Milan, Italy tonight at the Big Air and the City fest which once again attracted a massive crowd to the EXPerience Park.

The second edition of the World Rookie Rail Jam by Skipass came to an end and also this year the Rookies and the Groms were welcomed by the warm Italian temperature at Skipass tradeshow in Modena. The participants had the opportunity to compete on the best urban rail set up in Europe, designed and built by the shapers of F-Tech company based in South Tyrol.

The competitive snowboard season 2016/17 is behind us. It was filled with amazing moments of progression, creativity, consistency and upsets. Riders travelled the globe to compete at Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Big Air events, always collecting WSPL points. Today we are crowning the 2016/17 WSPL Champions.

Introduced in 2016, the SSA Park and Pipe Series brings together five competitive events that have been running independently of each other for many years. Through international sanctioning with the Association of Free Ski Professionals (AFP), the World Snowboard Tour (WST), and the International Ski Federation (FIS), the series supports a comprehensive national competition pathway where every athlete registered for the series will be added to the World Ranking lists.

When all parks around you are closed, the season at Superpark Dachstein is just starting! About 35 obstacles are awaiting you there and all of them have been extensively tested at last weekend’s Girls Shred Session. To cut a long story short: The girls rated it “shredable” and - thanks to an excellent coaching - they are now highly motivated to keep working on their skills.

10th QParks Snowboard Tour Stop, 30/04/2017, Superpark Dachstein, Schladming-Dachstein Region, Austria. Dachstein was calling: The finals on April 30 marked both the conclusion of the QParks Snowboard Tour and a dignified start of the glacier spring sessions the same time. After a contest journey all the way through Austria, Italy and Switzerland, the riders were welcomed with bluebird and a challenging pro kicker line for the final showdown. Accordingly stoked were the riders of the jam-packed setup.

As heavy snowfalls and wind are predicted for the weekend, the final stop of 2016/17 QParks Snowboard Tour the Oakley Roof Battle at Superpark Dachstein had to be postponed to 30th April.
