The Brooks St. Surfing Classic was started in 1955 in Laguna Beach, Ca. It is the oldest continuing surf contest in the world which celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2012. The 56th Annual Brooks St. Surfing Classic waiting period opened June 1st, 2019 and runs through the summer till we get the perfect swell to hold the contest on a weekend.
