Boardmasters Open 2024 | Day Four Highlights It was a busy day down at the Boardmasters Open on day 4 with strong performances from the competitors in the Longboard, QS and Junior heats. In the Wild West Jerky Longboard series we saw very high standards across the day with Sunday's final promising to be one of the best yet. Finalists include Delpero, Coret, Dantas and Skinner for the mens, with Lemoigne, Caimi, Grospiron and Ah-Kouen for the womens. In the BYD Pro Noah Klapp and Tya Zebrowski battled to win spots in the women's final, while Wales's Patrick Langdon-Dark fought with everything he had to make it to the final alongside local legend Lukas Skinner to lock in an all British men's final for the first time in history also meaning we will have a British winner for the first time since 2002. We closed out the day with the Junior Semi Finals with another surfer from the Netherlands, Douwe Robroch with local boy Fynn Gillespie making it into the final. Lukas Skinner continued to dominate, giving him the double up of finals with the QS and Junior. He'll be joined by another Welshman in the form of Elliot Barton. New Colors Film Last year we travelled to Ervik, Norway with Zoe Grospiron, Kika Veselko Hina Conradi & Janire Gonzalezetxabarri for an adventure unlike any other, the unique experience of chasing cold water surfing in some of the world’s most dramatic and beautiful landscapes. An opportunity to push the girls out of their comfort zones and find new appreciation for the sport outside of competition. No jerseys, no scoring, just exploring and appreciating mother nature.
