What is Big Air?

The X Games Big Air course is a single jump that lives up to its name -- the booter is always one of the largest jumps athletes will face all season.

Depending on the year, X Games Big Air competitors take 4-6 attempts, with their best two jumps comprising their total score. Each trick/jump is judged on a 0-50 scale, so an athlete’s best possible Big Air score is 100.

OBSIDIAN - Big Air!

Watch the first Obsidian episode here!! The Obsidian Big Air saw four international teams battle it out on the first challenge, at the massive Big Air venue on Cardrona Alpine Resort.

Obsidian is an exciting event which aims to think outside the box of traditional competition encouraging collaboration and creativity, along with a hefty dose of competitiveness!

The event is made up of three Challenges: Big Air, Park Challenge, and Backcountry Freestyle. Each challenge is contested by four teams: Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. With 31 of the best riders in the world, split across four teams, the level of riding was out of this world.

BUSH DOOF 2023: Hosted by Tess Coady | Thredbo, Australia

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the second annual "BUSH DOOF" hosted by Tess Coady at her home snow resort in Thredbo, Australia, exceeded every expectation. An invite only competition followed by a day of riding with some of the locals.

Featuring: Tess Coady, Annika Morgan, Kokomo Murase, Mia Brookes, Lauren Dermino, Zoi Synnott-Sadowski, Zak Hale, Judd Henkes, Darcy Sharpe, Torgeir Bergrem, Rene Rinnakangas, Tiarn Collins, Patroik Hofman, Sven Thorgren.

AUDI SNOWJAM 2022 - HIGHLIGHTS

Trophies for the winners travel to New Zealand and Japan. Tiarn Collins from New Zealand and Kokomo Muras from Japan can rejoice in the penultimate race of the World Snowboarding Cup - Audi Snowjam 2022, which took place in the Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Area. While Kokomo Murase dominated the women's category during both the qualifiers and the finals, Tiarn Collins secured the victory with an uncompromising final race in the finals. //

Trofeje pro vítěze putují na Nový Zéland a do Japonska. Tiarn Collins z Nového Zélandu a Kokomo Murase z Japonska se mohou radovat z vítězství v předposledním závodě Světového poháru ve snowboardingu – Audi Snowjam 2022, který proběhl ve Skiareálu Špindlerův Mlýn. Zatímco Kokomo Murase dominovala ženské kategorii v průběhu kvalifikací i finále, Tiarn Collins si zajistil vítězství až nekompromisní poslední jízdou ve finále.
