Werka x etnies launch event in Poland This past weekend, Wrocław played host to the launch party for Werka Choromańska's new colorways with us: the Locut Vulc and Locut 2K. Werka's still recovering from a slam she took whilst filming the etnies promo - not quite ready to skate again, but that didn't stop the party. Nick Garcia and Barney Page flew in to skate and soak up everything Wrocław has to offer, while Werka worked the crowd with her crew and their paint cans whilst handing out cash for tricks and hooking everyone who deserved it up with product. Final Bowl hosted us for the night, and we reworked the park with them around a car centerpiece - painted by Werka's writing crew to match her shoe colors. People came through for drinks, watched the etnies crew skate, and stuck around for a best-trick jam later on. A few even left with Werka's surname freshly tattooed. More photos over at FreeSkateMag. Joy & Purpose | KAB Foundation The etnies x Keep A Breast collection is now available at https://etnies.com/collections/keep-a-breast-collection We have partnered with the Keep A Breast Foundation to spread awareness, spark conversation and support the fight against breast cancer. This limited drop celebrates 25 years of advocacy in the battle against breast cancer and will help fund education and early detection for the next generation. With every purchase – etnies will contribute a portion of sales directly to support their mission. KAB was founded in 2000 by Shaney Jo Darden and Mona Mukherjia-Gehrig to emphasize a key element of breast cancer advocacy that remains often overlooked, even today: prevention and early detection. The organisation takes a radically different approach to breast cancer advocacy, infusing creative expression and community-building with an against-the-status-quo ethos to spur its mission: to reduce breast cancer risk and its impact globally through art, education, prevention, and action.
