Once again the Bring da Truckaz Skatejam came to a successful end and we’ve summarized all the juicy details for you!

We can happily look back onto a rewarding Skatejam at the Konkordiapark in Chemnitz, with 80 skaters, 1000 day visitors and a lot of good vibes! Blue Tomato has sponsored the event before but this year we had the honour to join as “presenting sponsor”. In addition, the event took place again in cooperation with the „United by Skate Camp”. Also this year's competitors came from a large international field, travelling all the way from Spain, Macedonia, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and many parts of Germany.

The Captain's Quest 2017 / Blue Tomato / Wakebeach 257

For its third edition, Blue Tomato's The Captain's Quest came for the first time to Germany. The Wakebeach 257 in Dormagen near Cologne was the location for a miniramp battle of epic proportions.

A total of 19 male and female skateboarders from Austria, Brazil, Germany, the United Kingdom and Denmark battled it out for a total of 5.000€ prize money. The third edition brought the floating miniramp to the rhine area, the Wakebeach 257 provided the perfect location for visitors to watch the contest action. Two-time winner Dannie Carlsen was back to defend his title, as well as #bluetomatoteam riders Marco Kada, Max Buttinger, Alisa Fessl and Julia Brückler, young gun Santino Exenberger, Evandro Martins from Brazil and many more!

The Captain's Quest is ready to set sails again, for the third time, and this year we're again heading for new shores: Wakebeach 257 near Cologne on the 19th of August 2017! http://go.blue-tomato.com/tcq17

The Wakebeach 257 at the Straberger Lake in Dormage will be this year's location for the unique event going into its third year: Blue Tomato's The Captain's Quest will once again bring Europe's miniramp elite together to battle for a prize purse of 5.000€!

The contest is invitational, but you're all welcome to join to watch! Free entry and you can watch from land or water, so bring your floating devices for the most unique way of watching a skateboard contest!
