Arbor Skateboards :: Returning Roots - Greyson Fletcher in Hawaii

Arbor has been reforesting Koa forests in Hawaii since day one. So it was perfectly fitting to invite Arbor Pro Athletes Greyson Fletcher, Bryan Iguchi and Marie-France Roy out to the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island to experience our most recent reforestation efforts first hand.

We have always considered the planet in the production of our products. From the start, we committed to donating a portion of every sale to environmental conservation. Our efforts involve the protection and restoration of forests, putting roots in the ground. We focus on the Koa forests of Hawaii as the best way to give back to the people and places at the roots of surf, skate, snow experience. Today, Arbor is the only brand in action sports restoring forests, rather than just planting trees.

Partnering with the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative, Arbor's Returning Roots Program has helped contribute to planting over 500,000 trees. Partnering with projects like HRLI enable Arbor to help educate and empower their customers to make a direct impact with their purchase.

2021 - Proving to be a big year of growth for all of earth's inhabitants, surely. Mary Rand was fortunate to have her glass half full as she navigated the remote and vast mountain ranges just outside her doorsteps. With the light of friendship, mentorship, and a willingness to listen, grow, and go, Mary made waves. Her attentive, creative, and mindful demeanor continues to put her in the natural path of positive experience. She has a riding style that is dictated by balancing calculated risk and a seemingly infinite bliss she can only find in the mountains. Get a few good turns with Big Air Mare and the smile will rub off on you, you'll see.

Arbor Skateboards :: Amelia Brodka - Baba Yaga

Drawing energy from the Slavic Boogeyman, Baba Yaga, Amelia Brodka releases a new video part along with a well-deserved pro deck. Arbor builds on her legacy of radiant positivity, community leadership, and raw passion for skateboarding. Her shape blends modern street and classic pool shapes, while the graphic draws on her Polish roots with an homage to the legend of Baba Yaga.

Amelia's skateboarding journey started with the simple act of rolling down the driveway with her brother. Now she is getting ready to head to Tokyo, Japan, to represent Poland as skateboarding makes its Olympic debut. Her passion and leadership continues off the board, as she co-founded the non-profit, Exposure Skate, to empower women through skateboarding.
