Adur Amatriain (EUK) and Lucia Machado (CNY) have won the E.Leclerc Pont L’Abbé Junior Pro La Torche today, claiming victory in the Finals against Kai Odriozola (ESP) and Gabriela Dinis (PRT) respectively, held in clean two-to-three foot surf at La Torche.

The World Surf League (WSL) announces the updated calendar for the remainder of the 2021 Championship Tour leading into the Rip Curl WSL Finals in September. The third leg of the Tour includes a stop in Mexico for the first time in 15 years and the women surfing Teahupo'o alongside the men for the first time since 2006.

Barra de La Cruz will host the world's best surfers for the first time in 15 years.

The fight for the Final 5 is on as the world’s best surfers head to Lemoore, California for Stop No. 6 on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), the Jeep Surf Ranch Pro, which runs from June 18 - 20, 2021. After an explosive two months in Australia, the CT returns to the US for the most unique event of the season, a three-day showdown in perfect waves that will put surfing’s elite to the test.

After 15 years, Ecuador returns to the World Surf League schedule in 2021 to promote two consecutive WSL Qualifying Series combined Men’s and Women’s events in June. The first will be the Corona Montañita Open presented by Hyundai New Tucson 2022 and the City of Santa Elena from the 16th to the 20th in Montañita. The other is the Corona Salinas Open presented by Hyundai New Tucson 2022 and the City of Santa Elena from the 23rd to the 27th in Salinas, which in 2005, was home to the only World Surf League event ever held in Ecuador.

Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) and Gabriel Medina (BRA) have won the Rip Curl Rottnest Search presented by Corona, the fifth stop on the 2021 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) and the final event of the Australian leg. Strickland Bay turned on once again with four-to-six foot waves on offer for what was an epic final day of not only this event but also the four-event Australian leg.

The inaugural 2021 Liga Surfing Indonesia season is now underway, with 9 of the 15 member clubs having run their first club events last Sunday the 23rd of May in some of Indonesia’s most famous beaches including Uluwatu, Kuta, Canggu, Scar Reef and Cimaja to name but a few.

The Asian Surfing Cooperative (ASC) with the Persatuan Selancar Ombak Indonesia (PSOI) are proud to announce the formation and launching of the Liga Surfing Indonesia (LSI), the first national surf league in the Asian region, which brings together Indonesia’s top surf clubs in a professional yearly competition series directed at creating a sustainable pathway of surfing development starting with boys and girls 10 years and younger, then Junior and Open men and women (16 to 35), up to Masters (over 35 years in age).
