What you need to know:
SLS World Tour London kicked of the events where riders can gain points for the Olympic Ranking. Skaters will earn points at certain qualifying events up until May 31st 2020. Although not fully confirmed yet, these will include top level events such as The World Champs, SLS, and Dew Tour Longbeach (coming up June 13-16), along with Continental and National Championships.
The Olympic Channel has all this planned out in more depth here. And you'll be able to keep up with how the Olympic Ranking is shaping up over at World Skate.
In a year's time it'll be cool to see which final 80 riders will get a shot at the first ever Skateboarding Olympic Podium in Tokyo.
For now you can watch some of the Team USA hopefuls below, including Alexis Sablone, Jenn Soto, Mariah Duran, Jagger Eaton, Bryce Wettstein and Tristan Rennie - will any of them make the cut?!
