The GromSearch offers young surfers under 16 (girls and boys) the chance to show off their talents in the environment of a friendly and relaxed competition, and therefore is seen by most of the groms as the best event in the world.

Rip Curl will travel 12 famous beaches in 6 European countries (France, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy & Netherlands) searching for the best up and coming surfers. The winners of the European finals will have the chance to compete for a World GromSearch title against the best surfers from Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, USA & South Africa.
