<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Tipi Jabrik's Grom Patrol India presented by Arun Vasu concluded today with champions crowned in the Under 16 Boys, Under 18 Boys, and Under 18 Girls divisions, while the coveted tickets to the Grom Patrol Grand Final in Bali were also awarded.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Winning the Under 18 Boys Division was local standout <strong>Kishore Kumar</strong>, who dominated the final and left every other finalist needing a combination of scores by the time the horn sounded to end the 25-minute final. His impressive two-wave total of 15.33 (out of a possible 20), made up of an excellent 8.83 and a 6.50, was well clear of runner-up Som Sethi, who finished with a total of 7.60.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">However, it was <strong>Som Sethi </strong>who earned the Under 18 Boys ticket to the Bali Grand Final. Having won the Mangalore stop and finished runner-up in Covelong, Sethi topped the overall series rankings, while Kishore Kumar did not compete in Mangalore.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"I'm really excited to be going to Bali for the Grand Final," said Sethi. "I've been to Bali before and love the waves there, so I'm really looking forward to competing there. I knew I had a good chance to earn the spot after winning in Mangalore, so now I'm just going to surf and train as much as I can so I can perform well when I get to Bali."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Under 18 Girls final followed a similar script, with India's top-ranked female surfer <strong>Kamali Moorthy</strong> dominating from start to finish. She posted a commanding total of 15.17, combining an excellent 8.67 with a 6.50, leaving her competitors in combination.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Because Kamali did not compete in the Mangalore event, the Bali Grand Final qualification went to<strong> Aadya Singh</strong>, who won the Under 18 Girls division in Mangalore and accumulated the highest overall series points.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Honestly, I didn't really expect that I would get the spot," said Singh. "I'm from Bangalore, and it was really great to win the Mangalore event because that's my home break. But when I didn't make it to the final here, I thought I didn't have a chance anymore. So it was a big surprise, and such an amazing opportunity. I've only been surfing for about two and a half years, and this will be a great way to improve my surfing."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In the Under 16 Boys Division, <strong>Harish P</strong>, who is also Kamali Moorthy's younger brother, successfully defended the title he won last year to earn another trip to the Bali Grand Final.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"I'm so glad I could win again today so I can go back to Bali and compete again," said Harish. "Last year I only made it to Round 3, so this year my goal is to reach the final. I've been training hard and trying to improve all the time, so I'm feeling confident I can do better. I really like Bali, the waves there are amazing, and the event is so much fun. Thanks for giving me another chance to go back."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This marks the second consecutive year that Tipi Jabrik's Grom Patrol has held two stops in India, thanks to the commitment of <strong>Arun Vasu </strong>and his team, who continue to invest significant time and effort into developing the next generation of Indian surfers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Reflecting on this year's event and the growth of the program, Vasu was enthusiastic about its progress.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"This Grom Patrol junior program has more than met my expectations," he said. "Compared to last year we have more kids, they're surfing better, and we're all much better organized. We even had a live stream to showcase the event to a much wider audience here in India. The reward of a trip to Bali gives these young surfers a real goal to work towards.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"We're definitely going to keep doing this. It really excites my team and me to work with these kids, watch them improve, and help make their dreams come true. We're fully committed to growing this program, and who knows... maybe next year we'll even have more Grom Patrol stops across India."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For complete results from all divisions at the Grom Patrol India Covelong event, visit LiveHeats: <a href="https://liveheats.com/events/528806/" target="_blank">https://liveheats.com/events/528806/</a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Tipi Jabrik's Grom Patrol Grand Final will take place at Kuta Beach, Bali, from 28–30 August, where winners from India and Thailand will join an international field of Asia's best junior surfers for three days of world-class competition, friendship, and unforgettable experiences.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For more information, visit <a href="https://www.asiansurf.co" target="_blank">www.asiansurf.co</a> and follow us on Instagram:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> @asiansurf.co</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> @grom.patrol</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> @aspa_surfacademy</div>
